This photo is of the scene directly across the street from the Bookshop I used to work at. I took the photo about a week ago when I was there to deliver a card order.
On Sunday I will be about a block from there, meeting a friend (close friend of two of our kids, actually) who will have her two children with her...the youngest we have yet to meet! Can't wait!
Well, a bit now. Tis sticking. S'posed to end before midnight so no guessing how much there'll be, except I'm thinking for shur NOT four inches, and two inches would make it the biggest snow of the season. . . . .
Nope. In a completely different watershed. I'm about a mile from the headwaters of the Potomac (South Fork of the South Branch anyways); Mt. Solon is over in the Shenandoah Valley and watershed. And a good bit lower than I am.
It was a very satisfying day. Daughter's best friend came to see us with her two little ones. We ate out then went to the Echo Center. Fun! And it definitely took three adults to chase after two children. LOL!
Saturday off to the Bay Area to visit with Naomi, today shopping and back home. Last night slept well--zero pain--on an air mattress, but leg seized up as I walked to the car. OK after getting home and having a long very hot bath, moving around some and so forth.
Naomi and two or three gal coworkers are starting to plan a vacation in Japan this August.
Dean by Lake Champlain...now *that* would be First!

puddle, you might only get grazed by the snow, as the storm is trending more to the south than expected. Look out Richmond!
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm guessing you got 2", puddle. Close?
ReplyDeleteGot nuttin' lol! Not even rain. Just cloudy (overcast) and a bit winding. Mid thirties. Snowing about ten miles south and east of me.
ReplyDeleteClose one! Glad you get to keep your grass.
ReplyDeleteIs the 10 miles south of you uphill? Will it affect your river?
