See those little beach balls?
The last groomsman, just ahead of the Flower Fairies, and the person who officiated the wedding, both took care of the new couple's kitty while they were on their honeymoon. In addition to washing all their pre-wedding-mania-time dishes (the apartment has no dishwasher) the two guys saved all the beach balls from the ceremony, blew them up again, and left them all over the apartment to greet the happy couple upon their return! LOL! Nice people rock!
Howard Dean rocks and is First!
ReplyDeleteCatreona, I'm going to see if I can add some images here for you...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful BIG thunderstorm rolling in! Rain coming at a good rate, but nothing to match the blundertigers yet.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Keep us posted...especially once it passes!
ReplyDeleteSooo, I'm back from the Florist and yesterday's mystery flower is....
ReplyDeleteIt's pronounced Lizzie-Anne-Thus (soft th).
ReplyDeleteThe sweet thing about that is that the Bride's name is Liz!

LISIANTHUS
This gorgeous flower, native to Mexico, has long held an important role in communicating a deep, heartfelt, romantic desire. The meaning of the lisianthus has changed a bit over the years, so that now it communicates charisma and congeniality. Send a bouquet of lisianthus to someone you admire or adore and let them know how much you appreciate their outgoing personality.
Accent is on "Anne" in Lisianthus.
ReplyDeleteOh, listener, that's perfect! The thing is, you never could have found it if you'd been looking for it.
ReplyDeletelistener, the quilt is beautiful. One of yours, I take it?
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow pic is lovely, but I'm looking for something a bit more vivid. Thanks so much for posting the photos.
Storm lasted about four hours. After the first blundertigers, just good solid serious rain. Since I hadn't slept well last night, took the occasion to go up and nap. Both Stevie and Beau joined me. Twas wonderful! Now 70 degrees and sunny. Hard to believe it's August!
ReplyDeleteSounds great, Puddle.
ReplyDeleteTwas ~~ feels like I've been waiting for most of the summer for real rain. And now, both last weekend AND today feels like heaven!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I figured more vivid would be better. I think I have a couple old rainbow photos on an external drive, but I'd really need to at least know which year to look in.
ReplyDeleteYes, that quilt rainbow is part of the Spring panel of the wedding quilt. :-)
Makes you really hurt for Texas, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
