It was pretty, puddle, and the best part is that it melted off by suppertime! Ha! We're expecting a cooler week, but that's okay. :)
BTW! After my computer crash last August I wouldn't have had any of the old Dean graphics except that I posted them in varying ways on Ally's family blog, so I was able to page back for them and cut and paste. Ally saved the blog graphics! O:-)
We were supposed to have rain today. And did, overnight and early. Woke to sheeting rain on my sky window. But it's bright and warm and balmy now. Only 30% chance tomorrow (which usually means not at all). Love it! Now if the peepers would just show. . . .
Been washing. Gonna have sheets and pillowcases on line over night. Might get snowed on if the weather guys are right, lol! And yanno? I just don't care.
Man, I'm surprised at home many of my friends' young adult children are posting gripes on Facebook about the new healthcare legislation. Too many of them live in the Bible Belt! So I have been posting little educational messages throughout the day, as needed, in response. They seem to be largely confused or uninformed and a few are grateful for the information.
OH WOW! I just got a phone call from my House Rep., Peter Welch, inviting me to join a telephone conversation about the new healthcare legislation taking place NOW. All I had to do was stay on the line and I WAS IN! It's awesome. I can ask a question. So far I haven't needed to, but we'll see. Very cool of you, Peter!
Finished washing the sheets, and many pillow cases, and hung them just at dark, and just as I was finishing, the first peepers!!! Sounded like two, though often there is one who starts several days ahead of the crowd. If tradition holds, there'll be snow within the week. . . In fact, according to the weather peeps, it may be tonight. . . . (I'm a doubting, though. . . .)
Howard's first, and that is *beautiful* listener!
