  2. I believe the path I'm following is popularly known as "The Path of Least Resistance".

  3. I'm presently on the path to bed! LOL! I am sooo tired! I've been trying to get some photos up but the server isn't helping. I'm away the next two days, too. So I hope the server lets me post before I go.

    Missing you, puddleriver! ♥

Penny and I had a nice lunch today. Sort of a very much delayed anniversary lunch (our anniversary was in December, but this is the first really convenient chance to go out we've had). We went to a Latin restaurant in the West Loop, not far from the EL stop. Penny had chicken with sofrito (whatever that is) and cheese, and an arugula-apple salad on the side. I had what they called a stew, although there was no liquid. Black beans, rice, chorizo, beef, and pulled pork (in some sort of pastry wrapping), with blood oranges and a few hot peppers.

    A very enjoyable celebration.

  5. Ahhhh. It sounds heavenly, Bill! ♥♥

Sounds just like the sort of celebration a couple can truly relax and enjoy. Good for you postponing until you could both be fully present and attentive to the enjoyment. How many years are you?

Sometimes that path is the kindness on yourself.
Hope so, because you deserve kindness. ♥

  8. Thanks for the reassurance, Alan. :)

I managed to get photos posted in the cue for the next three days. I hope it all works okay.

Soooo tired tonight! But then, our 2.5 year old Granddaughter*in*VT was here for the afternoon/evening as well as a little 22 month old friend and her pregnant mom. I'm all visited out! Ha!

  9. Hi.

listener, your photos continue to be lovely. Though in this case I'm reminded of that oft repeated advice popular in folk tales and Fantasy stories: Don't leave the path!

On Facebook I created a group: I Solemnly Promise to Ignore Glen Beck, Richard Cheney, Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin. So far, only my sister and one of our childhood friends have joined, but I'm pleased and grateful for their support.

Last night, having finished The Moon Maid, I reread The Telling by Ursula K. Le Guin, a lovely book. But then, I enjoy her books in general.

Have been working this evening, but it's going slowly, sort of in fits and starts. Also, I'm working on the second part of the story rather than the first part, which means I can't post revised sections yet. Luckily, my friends are a patient lot. *grin*
