I had an interesting conversation with the clerks at the post office this morning. I asked if they were short of mail carriers, and they said yes. They told me their routes require 110 carriers and most days they can't even get 90 delivering mail. They also told me that the rules have been changed and now, if there is not mail FOR you they don't have to come to your house. And they don't. We are getting overdue notices because the carriers have not delivered bills to us and additionally they have failed to pick up our outgoing mail. Louis DeJoy has so much evil to answer for. Susan
ReplyDeleteThe sexting is a private matter between the Plattners which, apparently, they have worked out. What should be the scandal is that Mrs. Plattner confided in someone who betrayed that confidence in the biggest possible way. I can only assume they did it for personal gain or out of spite. Not someone you want working on your campaign. In other words, the problem is with the dirty scum of a leaker, not with a personal problem the Plattners have worked out and, had, moved on from.
ReplyDeleteIt also pisses me off that everybody in the chattersphere is blathering about what Plattner did as if it is equivalent to Paxton's corruption, and lying, and indictments. Paxton is very publicly a crook. Plattner is an ordinary, fallible man. There is a difference. You notice Mrs. Plattner has not divorced Graham on Biblical grounds. She stuck with him. No doubt she gave him a lengthy piece of her mind, but that is between the two of them. It is not something a confidant had any right to plaster all over the NIT! I hope that skunk's name comes to light, so they have to live with everyone in Maine and indeed the world, knowing what they did.
Yeah, the Rapepublicans are all supporting a pedophile in office. They have no room to talk. It follows along with their whole "everything we do is okay, everything you do is wrong". Sick of Susan Collin's "concern". Susan

DeleteWil has been clearing out part of the basement to make space for the contractor to put in our new hot water heater tomorrow. He is also generously carrying many items around to the garage via the back door, load after load, since the Robin is nesting on our front porch. He just came in and said, "I think the bird thinks I'm building my nest." 😆

DeleteMeidas Touch reports the regime has unobtrusively reduced tariffs on farm and construction machinery to help farmers and builders. As Ben quipped, "I thought the foreign countries paid the tariffs." It's not much, butt it's something.
