We uncovered our sailboat, Loch Nest, on Saturday! (The ⛵️ season has begun.) We got the Lifelines on (which is always a relief), and the interior had no issues from Winter. So far, so good! Next up: a good powerwash.
Wil and I actually watched it live. Bringing up the ballroom was stupid and I think that and the Iran comment were probably part of the speech he didn’t get to give. Some of what he said (the part he read off a paper) was okay. I thought it interesting that he said the speech he had been planning to give would no longer have been appropriate…! We’ll see what he comes up with for when they reschedule.
Having had two grands with us most of last week, we are still recuperating. LOL But it was such a delight, and we also got to have dinner out with some of our family from NH and Maine on Friday night to celebrate Elder*Grandson turning 13 TODAY, and Grandad Wil turning 71 this coming Wednesday.
The video is dated April 25, 2026. As seems often to be the case, this title is misleading, if not downright irrelevant. All the same, the discussion is interesting.
I actually watched the first minute or so. (Usually ignore videps.) It is well known that the artic warms faster than temperate zones, which warm faster than the tropics. And sea ice doesn[t affect sea level, so I'm not sure what is so grim.

Meanwhile the current distribution for my email gropup, Stipple-APA, hs arrived and I've already completed my comments on what others wrote. I missed seeing a couple of distys because they went to my old email adress and in any case I would have had difficulty responding while in rehab.
Yesterday my chest of drawers arrived from ex-home and I'm starting to get things properly put away. Meanwhile my friend Jason is searching Amazon for surge protectors and other things to properly support my electronic infrastructure here. And the Oak Park Arms staff will install my window air conditioner on Wednesday. It was in the 50s today.
