@andrathomas2497 10 days ago I was an ER nurse for 30 years. Very familiar with death. This includes death by hanging. This is not the face of a body that was found hanging and cut down.
@ProfBeefCat 3 days ago (edited) This photo was taken after his first suicide attempt weeks prior to his death which is why he is still alive in the photo. This photo comes from an article from TMZ claiming this. Reply: @deborahjohnsonmd8630 2 days ago Yes, you're right. Forensic pathologist here, and as I was looking at the photo initially, knowing the history pretty well because I recently gave a talk on the Epstein case, that's what I figured it had to be. You can see the ligature abrasion there on his neck from the strip of cloth he used to suspend his neck. I looked up the TMZ article you mentioned, and it shows better pictures of the suicide prevention jacket they put them in.
All of which begs the questions: Why was this particular photo released to make the rounds and where are the autopsy photos? Also, who does suppressing the autopsy photos benefit or protect?
I left some “epistles” on yesterday’s thread. The post At 12:10am, about the Eleectoral College, is perhaps the most encouraging. Also, for fun, see my last post there.
This video is creepy, but also interesting.
