ReplyDeleteThanks! Turned out most were too stuffed to eat much dessert. Next year, I think just Pumpkin and Chocolate and an Apple Crisp. The kids DEVOURED the chocolate pie, though! LOL!

DeleteIt was a good one, too! I used at least 4 kinds of apples: Honey Crisp, Pink Lady, Gala, & Granny Smith, layered well. I usually include some Empire apples, too, but couldn’t find any.
DeleteMy fave is Cherry! I mix one can of cherry pie filling with two bags of frozen dark sweet cherries.
DeleteI am stuck on the horns of a dilemma. I want to participate in Buy Nothing, but at the same time I have a Christmas gift all picked out for my niece, something I know she will love. She would understand why I want to Buy Nothing, but she would not get the gift.

One killed and seven wounded as Russia launches another overnight attack on Kyiv
ReplyDeleteGuardian: A Russian drone and missile attack targeted Kyiv in the early hours of Saturday, killing one person and wounding seven, authorities in the Ukrainian capital said. “Enemy drones are over the city, with air defense responding,” Tymur Tkachenko, Kyiv military administration’s head, said on Telegram. “There are multiple targets on the capital’s outskirts.” The fatality was a man and a child was among the injured, he posted later.
