Shiloh at age 10 months
I've been going through the childhood photos.
Fresh out of college, and poor as churchmice, we camped from May to the end of September
all through Shiloh's first Summer. He LOVED it. But when we moved indoors
a week before his first birthday he would bang on the window and yell to go back out!
We had no idea it would be quite so "formative"
and he would spend the rest of his life more outdoors than indoors.

Hey, Renee... Root*Center*Son has been in Columbus for several days at a conference. He's currently sitting on the tarmac at John Glenn waiting for takeoff to head home. He very kindly sent us his itinerary so we could track his flights, as we're still rather skittish about air travel currently. Wil said, "Oh, you're headed to Ohio. Fine. As long as it's not Dulles or Newark!" So of course he went through Dulles enroute and is coming back through Newark.
ReplyDeleteGot ot Newark safely, but due to storms all flights to Vermont are cancelled. Next flight to Vermont is 9:45pm tomorrow night! So he's going to rent a car and get out of the city and probably stop somewhere for the night, and drive up tomorrow.
