  2. The eulogies for President Jimmy Carter are worth listening to more than once. Such fitting and beautiful tributes.
I note that DT has his eyes closed through most of it, like he's going to his happy place instead of listening.
It feels very different when I see President Biden with his eyes closed, clearly in prayer.

    1. At least Trump behaved himself, a minor miracle IMO.

      Sedation?

Wil noted that Mrs. Pence refused to shake his hand.

    3. Sensible lady. Think of the kudies! Sis observed that Pres. Obama probably had to apply a whole bottle of hand sanitizer.

Well, I only rarely drink coffee, and when I do it’s decaf.

  4. Sorry, Donnie; California's economy is growing, its budget will be balanced, and major crimes have continued falling. And we will be having Japanese-style curry for dinner this evening. No reports yet of progress in joining Canada, but of course negotiations will be confidential.

    1. Glenn mentions the possibility that the D.A. may request unsupervised probation.

As he explains it, this means that so long as the probationer makes it to the end of the period of probation *without* committing further crimes, the case comes to a close. What I want to know is, what happens if El Trumpu commits more crimes, as he is bound to do?

It will be interesting to see if Bragg does indeed ask for unsupervised probation and, if so, whether Justice Merchant agrees and imposes it. Hee hee.
