In case you hadn't noticed the news, Gazprom, the Russian natural gas monopoly, has gone bankrupt. Not only no profits for the Russian government and half owner, but no taxes either. I am no economist, but figure that portends even more inflation (currently estimated to be about 27% per annum) in Russia. -----Alan
