  1. A boy? I could have sworn she said a girl. Oh well, adorable either way.

    1. Both remarkable, but the first is ephemeral. Good work!

    1. Egad. Right on. When we come out the other side, whenever and after whatever happens, we may reasonably hope that the Republican Party will have about the same popularity and membership as The Peoples Temple of the Disciples of Christ.

  3. This gawd-awful political climate and the miasma of hate and bigotry is killing me. I have had all-night long insomnia nearly every single night for four straight weeks. I can nap for an hour or two in the day but I CANNOT SLEEP AT NIGHT, and I'm feeling it. If the Republicans cheat their way to victory in the Midterms I'm afraid I'll end up in jail because I cannot endure two more years of Republican rapaciousness.

Interview with Paul Volker about his upcoming memoir. [Click] Well worth a read IMO.
