Iridescent Clouds

Photo by my friend Tom Woods, taken January 7th:
Tom added: "Stunning display of #iridescent clouds this afternoon.
One of the best I've ever seen! Easily visible with the naked eye.
Taken with an iPhone camera, no filters."

  1. Still reading the testimony. How far have you read, Susan?
Anyone else reading it? (Link is at the top of yesterday's thread.)

Reluctantly ending for the night at p. 138.

It sure is intriguing (pun intended).

  3. After Key California GOP Retirements, Dems Fret About Blowing A Golden Opportunity[Click] The fools thought that by removing third party candidates from the general election they could pick up independent and third party voters. Now their chickens are coming home to roost. I always vote, but now I withhold my vote in more races. Generally speaking I used to refrain from voting in uncontested races (judicial, mostly). It looks like this year there will be two Dems to choose between in both the gubernatorial and senatorial races—none of whom I feel I can in good conscience vote for.

    1. Your vote is your voice (and no one else's)!

    2. In California general elections, except for the US Presidency we get to choose between the two top vote getters in the primary. We can't even register a non-binding "none of the above" vote. The only protest vote is not to vote, and I don't like that at all.

  7. The first post took so long I didn't realize it was in transit, thus the second one.--Alan

  8. Thanks everyone, for timing your postings. I'm only having the issue with blogspot. Maybe they'll fix it yet. Meanwhile, you are all worth the wait. ♥
