Good Friday

Somehow the image of suffering "works" this year quite well, doesn't it?

  1. We had a beautiful moon rise tonight, through the trees and on up high. Lovely.

I left a message or two on the last thread.

Super proud of Bernie for going on the road to seven states to make the case for sanity.

  2. Rep. Peter Welch, D-VT, is also first, because he has again signed on as a cosponsor of the National Nurse Act and he's willing to push for it!

    1. I can't help but shudder when I think of DT dropping big bombs. And this was a very small deal situation. What's he going to drop when it's a big deal? So sad that there were likely prisoners there.

  4. I take it, Alan, you haven't read Asimov's Robot novels, starting with The Caves of Steel, an SF detective story. There are also anthologies, Robot Visions and Robot Dreams. In latter years he integrated the Robot series with the Foundation series and Galactic Empire series. The Caves of Steel is a particular favorite of mine, with its '40s Noir feeling. Elijah Bailey would, it seems to me, feel right at home with Mark McPherson (from Laura)or Philip Marlow.

    1. You take it correctly, Cat. Well, I've overlooked a lot of stories...I shall make a mental note to check out Caves of Steel, on your recommendation.

  5. Today was the first day I felt like I'm getting the upper hand on the illness front. Glad to be on this end of it.

We hope to see the little VT Grands (age near 4 and 1.5 years) on Sunday.

And next weekend Daughter is coming with Baby*Grand from Maine!! Sweet!! 💕😃👍
