Alan, very familiar with the 1,000 count bottles of aspirin. But they went away, for me, at about 30. Replaced by tummy aches. My dad's responded to extra vitamin C.
It seems reality is raining on The Mango Menace's parade--the ObamaCare repeal & replace bill was withdrawn from the floor rather than go down to certain defeat. Awwww....
So, what I don't understand is why on earth is this Administration still in office? Even if none of DT's people had anything to do with Russia hacking our election, the fact that Russia hacked our election (and that HAS been deemed fact) should be enough to nullify the election, shouldn't it?
Well, there is no provision in the Constitution for do-over elections. No one has ever been removed from office by way of impeachment. Very few people have been convicted of treason [Click] against the United States. No one has ever tried the 25th Amendment approach, but we might have to if Trump cannot be hounded from office. We are living in very interesting times, though. It isn't quite apropos, but Sister Rosetta Tharpe's "Strange Things are Happening Every Day" keeps running through my mind. If you are unfamiliar with it, you can find it on YouTube.
Sister Rosetta Tharpe: The Godmother of Rock 'n' Roll...
She brought the gospel music thread into R&R, and was strongly influenced by the Chicago Blues (think electric guitar); like Muddy Watters sang, the Blues had a baby and they called it Rock and Roll.
Gee--my first impression is to feel inadequate--my second is to realize I have a lot of good company! Thanks, listener. I still hope for a leaker at the post office to give us some idea of how it worked at the receiving end...

P.S.: I see their next target is Paul Ryan, but I figure he is too pathetic.

My favourite moment at the Library today was when a woman walked up to the counter and asked, "Do you have a gentleman in Moscow?"

P.S.: I have it in mind to see the movie version of "The Mouse That Roared" tonight. Gotta get some work done first, though.
LOL! I don't think we have a local GOP HQ in VT!
DeleteI did say that the concept didn't sound very safe. ;-)

Ryan didn't *want* to be Speaker. Maybe he's smarter than he looks?
