Too bad Sean doesn't have a motorized podium like Melissa does. Then he could chase the people who made him angry all around the room.

DeleteTrip to San Jose and back today went well except for huge backup due to road work in southern Madera County, which set me back about half an hour. The lower San Joaquin River channel is full of water, as is the bypass channel--I can't remember the last time I saw that. The San Luis Reservoir[Click] was completely full; a couple of months ago it was nearly dry. The hillsides are a nice green; the grass is growing well, but only about eight inches high on unplowed ground (2-3 feet on plowed ground). The wild mustard is gorgeous on plowed land, and just starting to flower on the unplowed ground. Poppies and lupine are just starting to peek out of the grass on a few south-facing slopes. The deciduous oaks are just beginning to leaf out.
