  2. I just finished reviewing some hospital records (from 2014), and encountered something for the first time: records sent from the first hospital to the second one by compatible electronic means, so they were instantly integrated into the chart at the second hospital, in the second hospital's accustomed format. I knew hospitals had been working on that for years, but I hadn't seen it before. It will surely decrease the number of misunderstandings arising from unfamiliar [paper] forms.

    1. One of three headlines I was going to mention (without links). The other two:
      1. The Trump White House and Justice Department are on deadline notice from the congressional Intelligence Committees that they, not the committees, will be responsible for providing some initial evidence that the alleged wiretapping actually occurred.
      2. Rep. Luis Guitterez (D-IL) is leading a sit-in at the Chicago office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He had previously met with ICE officials but didn't get the responses he wanted. (Details of his conversation with ICE officials not given.)

  4. We had about an inch of snow overnight. More expected today and tomorrow. Predictions say it could amount to a foot in some places, but that's apparently places getting lake effect snow. We're a bit too far inland to see much of that.

  6. Stephen Colbert said tonight that The Weather Channel has no authority to name storms. So he has renamed this massive blizzard about to hit the Northeast. Instead of "Stella" it is now "Crazy Balls."
