The last link I posted above (The Exhausting Work...) has a link to a turnout spreadsheet, currently at about four million, give or take about half a million.
I sure hope that before they left the White House, the Obama team had the sense to set an alternative button over the nuclear button; you know, one that rings the red phone in DT's psychiatrist's office.
It isn't surprising that DT has less perspective than before he was inaugurated. Do you recall that I recently asked a friend who's a licensed counselor what happens when a person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder is under great stress (y'know, such as being President). She said the person becomes more aggressive and more knee jerk in responses...because he is more sensitive than ever to criticism. I honestly didn't think it would be so sudden and acute. The lack of a grasp on reality that we are witnessing is scary and every single thing this person is doing is insane.
What SHOULD be done is for Congress to remove him on grounds of inability to carry out the responsibilities of the Presidency, IMO. Up to now the 24th (as I recall) amendment has been considered a tool for dealing with strokes and suchlike, but other forms of incapacity (e.g. mental illness) obviously could fill the bill.
I had not seen this before now, but wholeheartedly agree. The Republican Party has lost the last shred of its integrity. (Do we really have to have parties anymore?)
Yes, but the writer still considers the right-wing zealots to be "conservatives." It has been quite some time since there were a lot of conservatives in the GOP; they are now mostly radicals and even anarchists--people dedicated to making government impossible.
Trump's Rhetoric Is Already Colliding With the Reality of His Political Agenda [Click] “By the way, according to Darren Samuelsohn at Politico, the end of the ACA would personally save our billionaire president ‘at least $6.7 million’ in Medicare taxes.” As one editor observed shortly after the election, we seem to be entering a golden age of investigative journalism.
