Been AWOL, decorating a Unity candle set for my DIL's sister's wedding. It was contracted, but I'm giving it, holders and all, as a gift. Wedding is in Nov, but I'd like to have this in their hands soon. Mah*Sweetie and I will be at the wedding as childcare givers for our grands! Bliss!

I am thinking that the Republican party cannot be put back together again, although it may keep moving for a while, like a snake or a chicken with its head cut off. Given the degree to which the Democratic Party has moved to the right over the years, occupying space on the political spectrum abandoned by the GOP, there just isn't enough space between the right wing of the Dems and the lunatic fringe to accommodate a major political party. On either the left or the right, members would have to be attracted from the Democratic Party to make a new party significant and viable. There hasn't been a new major party since the rise of the Republicans; but that happened pretty quickly, and things can move at least as fast today as 160 years ago. This could become very interesting, although aspects of the transition may be at least as scary as what came after the death of the Whig Party. Just saying'.
Indeed, the colors!!!
