Clematis

  1. I can't find it now, but the big front page photo in our local newspaper was a fine photo of Bernie Sanders from the side, with a good expression and a raised fist salute, evidently speaking from the DNC lectern.

And in today's paper, there is a large column about how
HRC still lacks an effective slogan. [Click] Granted that I can't think of a good one for her, but it is passing strange (maybe bizarre would be a better word) that her partisans and lackeys can't do so either. Which reminds me, maybe I had better order a Jill Stein "Greater good, not lesser evil" bumper sticker in case that isn't used on the Pres/VP bumper sticker.

  5. Whew! Power's been out since three, original fix time was six, then eight. Made it up at 8:30. Got an amazing amount of meditation done, as well as boring sundries like taking garbage out, bringing in water, washing hair, and the like. Because of luck, the weather was gorgeous today, low seventies, so didn't miss the AC at all.

  6. If I'm reading this map aright, always questionable, the election is Clinton's to lose.

    1. It's not clear how much that map means, since an unspecified number of states are allocated solely on the results from four years ago.

  7. Understood. Past results are not always reliable predictors of future results. Still, I thought it was worth a look.
