So Sleepy...

  1. I suppose everyone else here received this same e-mail from Bernie for Pres, but it certainly warms the old cockles.--alan

    "Alan -

    It’s happening again…

In primary after primary in this campaign, we’ll get to a state and find ourselves down 30, 40 points or more. But then we get our field operation running, start talking to voters, run a few ads, and people contribute to fund that operation. Then we find ourselves down 20 points, then 10, then single digits…and then we win. Check this out:

    Quinnipiac - Pennsylvania (April 6, 2016)
    Hillary Clinton: 50%
    Bernie Sanders: 44%

Quinnipiac’s first poll of this race had us down 38 points..."

"The architects of Hillary Clinton's presidential run are lobbyists for Russia's most powerful bank. What are the national security implications?"

    1. Oh, Heilige Scheiss...this is just the sort of thing people speculated could doom Clinton's campaign well into the electoral season. In spades. There is simply no way any GOP candidate or campaign would fail to use this.

I wonder if President Sanders and Premier Trudeau might work out that irksome border dispute between Washington State and British Columbia.

    2. Oops. That was supposed to be the word "reveal" rather than "revel." Must have been a Freudian slip.

And, BTW, I took several years of German in high school, and one of my German teachers taught us the word "Scheiss" when begged to. And she was a clergy spouse! :-D

    3. Every once in a while when I mean to type "Clinton" I actually type "Clingon." "T" is right next to "G" on a QWERTY keyboard, but I do wonder if it might be a Freudian slip...

    4. I seriously doubt any national security implications. But it does illustrate just how closely Clinton is tied into the banking industry -- and not just US banks.

  3. It's like they're handing information to Bernie just in time for the NY debate!

    1. As well as The Drudge Report, Faux Gnus, and any GOP debate that might be coming up. The GOP campaign video production teams must be in overdrive...they might be able to do a decent job in five days, I should think--that's for TV. YouTube would be faster. And Bernie doesn't have to bring it up--he can just say when asked that he heard something about it but can't vouch for its truth. And send out an order that anyone in his campaign organization who represents any foreign bank or sovereign wealth fund in any capacity is not to come in starting the next day, and to submit their resignations within 24 hours.
