  1. Alan, it is good to hear that so much is being tended to regarding water in California. We don't seem to hear that on the news.

What did you think of Best Exotic Marigold Hotel? We liked it, especially some of the side stories. The Next Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is also good in its own way. It seemed to me the view was more general somehow, but still worth a look.

    1. It was a pretty good movie; a classic device, but there's nothing wrong with that. I came over here to ask you how the sequel was. I have it on my pending list at Netflix, and will move it up to the head of the list. I'm pretty sure I recognized several of the actors, although what their names might be I have no idea.

The flu season is officially over here, but the weather is like early summer. Sorry to hear it is lingering back in your neck of the woods. It's best to be careful, and generally more so for us mature types. Thanks to antibiotics, there should never again be a pandemic anything like the Spanish flu.

    2. The sequel has mostly the same characters, with a few additional. It's more lively.

  2. Yes, Cat, amazing to have a warm day and some yard to look at! For us, that will all be gone in the morning as we're having snow overnight. Bleah. At least it won't be a lot and we're expecting warmer temps midweek. Spring always wins!

    1. ...in the end.

Today's temps were mild though not warm by the Cat Scale. It was nice and sunny though.

  3. Plan A: Go to visit family in Maine this weekend.
Event: Grand in Maine got mean flu and is recovering slowly. We opt not to chance arriving during the incubation period for other members of the family.
Plan B: Go to the Easter Vigil then spend a leisurely day at home.
Event: VT*DIL invites us for Easter. Youngest and NH*DIL plan to spend Easter house-hunting up here.
    Plan C: TBD

  4. I got the last of the Winter seed shells raked up on Friday, as finally they were unthawed and dry enough!

  5. Not much going on here, which suits me fine. Currently rereading a favorite Dick Francis, Rat race.

  6. We went to the Easter Vigil tonight…beautiful service and moving homily about Selma 50 years later. So glad we went!

Tomorrow we are off to see VT*Grand, DIL and her parents.
