Mardi Gras!

How do you mark Mardi Gras?

We celebrated Shrove Tuesday tonight with Blueberry Pancakes and fresh Clementines from sunny California!

  1. Can't say as I do mark Mardi Gras per se, but I will get to work in the yard shortly. Spraying trees and weeds, followed by pruning.

Oh, and I think Bernie Sanders should be No. One today:

Bernie Sanders on the Greek debt problem [Click] Sounds like he and Paul Krugman, among others, are in basic agreement. Many of the comments are well worth reading.

This just in: The National Nursing Network's legislation (HR 379) has just received the support of the American Nurses Association! There now being no opposition to the bill, it is highly likely to pass during this session of Congress!! I have been following this legislation since it was just a twinkle in the eye of founder Teri Mills, RN. It will be a joy to see it pass, so that alongside the Surgeon General we will have a National Nurse for Public Health, with focus on Prevention! :-)

  4. Cold and bright today. Only about half a foot of snow after all, so very sparkly. Bitter cold coming over the next few days. The high for Thor's Day: 0ยบ. . . . That's as cold, colder than any high since I've been here.
