Where is that room, listener? Library or school? I am playing during my more-or-less enforced rest period. I'm making a giant tomato pincushion, a hexagon ball and doll clothes for one of my grands. I've been doing some light reading, but - man! - I can rarely find anything on T.V. that I want to watch. Getting a bit bored and looking forward to being able to get out and about again.
Mum used to have a tomato pincushion, not really a giant one though.
Susan, you seem mighty busy for a lady who's supposed to be resting. 8) Seems the more TV channels they add, the less there is to watch. You could check out FunTrivia.com if you enjoy trivia quizzes and games. Disclaimer: I will earn bonus points if you join from this link, but I only thought of that afterwards, honest!
The room is in Owl House at the Shelburne Museum! It is a multi-building museum, and the buildings themselves are part of the history. Sort of like Sturbridge Village, but not all from one time period. Owl Cottage is set in the middle of the complex and is just a nice, indoor place for children to enjoy. Owl House also has an arts and crafts room. :-)
The Vast Wasteland has little to offer people of refined tastes. Aside from that it sounds like you are getting along all right, Susan. Considering. Even general anaesthesia takes a lot out of a person, let alone other insults to the body. Mend well.
We have a new roof. They'll be by next week to install the gutters and rain barrels.
And last night I finished my part of the contract application that we have been so concerned about. It was submitted today. My client IM'ed me, "So now we are experts on contracts." My response was "LAUGH OUT LOUD!"
But still a few small items of work before I go play in the British Isles.
Howard is first, last and always.

Congrats, Bill. Getting that submission safely in must be a load off your mind.
DeleteWait, I think it's properly called Owl Cottage.
ReplyDeleteNo matter which it's called, it looks like a hoot! (He ducks.)
