Changing sheets this afternoon, and listening to Hannity, it struck me that they're still fighting the election. All his outrage, for the time I listened, was a rehash of Romney ads. Vewy vewy weird.
And my niece, over at fb was doing a defense of Romney's Jeep is being moved to China. With absolutely no new information since Romney made the claim (Jeep is opening a plant in China to make Jeeps to sell IN China).
Saw so many fb comments about how wonderful Obama's speech was that I had to ask Son to do a search and pull up the speech for us to watch. Obama nailed it.
All the talk on the Daily Show about Michelle Obama's new bangs, but somehow I had failed to notice them. Somehow I was more fixated on the fact that she seemed to be wearing Mary Tyler Moore's eyelashes, from the 1970s.
Yeah, Michelle's bangs were reported on the evening news a few days ago. What caught my attention though wasn't the bangs but the fact that she has just celebrated her forty-ninth birthday. Let's hear it for January Forty-nine girls!
I've listened to the speech three times and plan to again. It's a keeper. It's such a balm seeing by this speech that President Obama really did want to do more during his first term ...and now has nothing to lose by doing it.
This evening I was removed from my favorite FB Engelbert group. The founder/admin who contacted me, quite some time after I found out the hard way that I no longer had permission to access the group, stated that I was too negative and she had grown tired of arguing with me.
She also mention three strikes, you're out. I can recall two incidents for which I was reprimanded, but don't know what the third was, unless it was talking back to the admin who chewed me out earlier in the evening.
The whole thing really hurt. Memories of Enge is by far the most active and fun of the groups and I really felt safe and comfortable there. Guess security can be an illusory thing.
Cat, I'm so sorry. It can hurt tremendously. And one feels very helpless. I've never been totally banned anywhere, but I've had three day time outs that I felt we totally unjustified, but they had the power, and I didn't. Minny hugZ, fren. . . .
Howard's the First!!

You can't argue. You might as well talk to the wall - it's just as responsive.

Guess I'm gonna have to hunt up the speech.

Renee! Funny, but now that you mention it, I noticed her eyelashes too. :-)
DeleteGreat to see you here. I was looking up Sheriff Chuck's number. ;-)

DeleteIt was a good speech.
DeleteI've been busy, and tired. Can't even seem to make it to karaoke these days.

DeleteHugs from here too! I can't imagine anyone banning YOU!! Is there anything you can do to get reinstated or to appeal? That seems so harsh. :-(
