  1. Howard is the firstliest. And, listener, there's a reply for you on the last thread.

  3. Firefox wouldn't let me post at the other site I use it for either. But I reset the application and now it does.

  4. How do you "reset" an application, Bill?

    1. The procedure is specific for Firefox. Haven't encountered exactly the same thing elsewhere. You click on Help, then Troubleshooting Information. There will be a click-box that says "Reset." This clears what they call your profile -- your add-ins and some of your settings -- while preserving your bookmarks and browsing history.

  5. Thanks! Since Waterfox is the only browser I use, that's *very* good to know!

  6. You know it's cold when you have to wear a fleece vest to bake in the kitchen!

Currently, on the back porch, it's -10F.
    It builds character. ;-)

    1. You need a fleece vest in our kitchen about eight or nine months in the year. It's usually pretty cold in there.

At the same time, I hope Outdoor Kitty will be all right. Dad tried to bring him in since it's forecast to get down to zero tonight. But Mr. Kitty would have none of it and demanded to go outside again. We're all worried, but there's not much we can do about it. Just hope he goes to sleep in his kitty house, and that it keeps him warm and safe.

    2. Silly Kitty. Maybe someone can call to him if they wake during the night. Kitties are pretty goos at survival. He may be a tad humbler and wiser tomorrow.

  7. Some day. Scurried off to work on my day off, and it was a ZOO (first day open this week = loads of extra books being returned). About an hour and a half into my five hour shift I realised I'd left my lunch home. Fortunately the Director was working in her office, so I was able to scoot out to a nearby shop and get a sandwich and some tea.

After work, I had to go back to the eye doctor for a recheck on my paper-cut and to pick up my new sunglasses. Eye was sore all day and that translates to staying on the prescription eyedrops for another ten days. It's AMAZING that it takes a quarter second to injure and eye and a month or more to heal it!

My sunglasses hadn't arrived yet. =Sigh= If they come in tomorrow I might not have time before work to go pick them up. Then the office is closed until Monday. Heh.

    Ah well.

  9. puddle ~ Sometimes a New Year comes in on little cat feet. =^. .^=

As for what to do next, you could always try doing nothing very very slowly for a few days. ;-)

  10. Help please, guys! Who was hot, what movie or Pop star might a thirteen-year-old girl have had a crush on about ten years ago? All I can think of is Ricky Martin, and I have a feeling he was more like twenty years ago.

  11. U2, Bon Jovi or maybe Patrick Demsey?
