Travel safely, listener. No frost here yet, although there was a slight dusting of snow in the mountains last week. Highs in the 80's, lows in the 50's this week.
I always use Goodsearch, which employs the Yahoo search engine. Goodsearch gives my chosen charity (AAPD) a penny for every search I make. And I make a lot. Often I'm searching for the web site of a specific organization, which presumably wouldn't be affected by personalization. Or for a specific chemical. I wonder how much the choice of politically charged terms affected the outcome? But maybe not. I can see how searches on "Chicago" or "restaurant" might be even more personalized.
I am at this very minute watching Howard Dean on TV...in the interview done a few Augusts ago by our friend (sailing buddy) Chris Graff. It's on Vermont Public Television.
Alan, it's a good interview, reviewing his years as Governor primarily, but also speaking about the campaign a little. There are some nice photos interspersed, and you'd get to see more about Dean as understood by Vermonters. Worth a look.
Even on a frosty morning, Howard Dean is First!
ReplyDeleteOff to NH for my peer group meeting, and to meet with my spiritual guide afterwards. Home later tonight.

No frost here yet. A week or so ago there as a prediction of frost in out-lying areas, but just eight miles from the lake we didn't see any.

DeleteGot it, Bill.
ReplyDeleteNothing much happening here today; but I got off work well before sunset--in time for rush hour!
Thinking about seeing the interview, listener; suppose I will. Thinking it might be a little hard to be reminded, though.
