It's SPRING: Free the Bulbs!

Last year, I designed the garden, enriched the soil, and bought and planted the bulbs. And dadgummit, I'm going to enjoy them!!! So I shoveled away 3 1/2 feet of crusty, compacted snow and look what I found underneath: bulbs up several inches, sun starved and needing to breathe. How did they know to come up? Wildlife*Biologist*Son says "the snow got brighter." Amazing.
