  3. Sorry about that mess yesterday, lol! I kept saying nothing was there, and saying it was trying. I just watched it. When I tried to answer, it wouldn't post, so I just gave up and went to bed. Which seems to have worked.

  5. I'm with Susan. I meant to say that earlier, right in with the firsties, which I'm sure he'd be delighted to share today.

Good news, even if the timing is a bit off.

  9. Lord! He does sometimes (often, in fact) provide. Was working last night on pattern and methodology for my current project: teeny tiny cat traps to be used as ornaments on a teeny tiny tree. The cat itself is either a Czech cat bead or a minuscule spun cotton cat (under an inch); but the trap part was giving me some trubble ~~ all the cardboard for the tiny box was/is either two large, or not "cardboardy" looking. On my way to the bathroom passed a gift from Edwin: he was taking this VERY expensive Chinese medicine wherein each pill was lovingly wax enclosed, and then each wax ball inserted in a tiny cunning box of its own. I'd asked him to save me the boxes since they're at the scale for gift boxes for the Santas I make. Idly I opened one, and voila! A thing that had escaped me before: between the wax ball and the inside of the fancy box is a miniature cardboard lining. Which *looks* like cardboard, lol! Almost as good is the wax: been needing a material for tiny angel faces, which is sort of traditional looking. . . ought to be able to get a dozen or more little faces from this stuff which is a good deal tougher than paraffin. Have I mentioned how much fun I'm having with this?

  11. Hi everyone. Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Had a pretty good day. Lots of love on FB too. Spent most of the afternoon and evening working on a video for YouTube. But I think somebody up there doesn't want me to post it, because it's been giving me endless trouble. It's the damnedest thing. The song plays perfectly in Windows Media Player, and rips successfully. It plays perfectly when I play the ripped version on the hard drive. But, the moment I import it into Windows Movie Maker, some flaw develops in it, like a skip. And, when it plays correctly in WMM and I upload the video to YouTube, the audio on the video develops a skip or whatever. I'm beginning to doubt my sanity. More importantly, I'm beginning to be sick of "Stardust," something I never would have thought could happen. The whole thing is just so bloody weird!

  12. Not the same, but. . . . Ebay has been refusing to let me put stuff on my watch list, or any other list, either. It also won't let zoom or enlarge work for picture. I can zoom the pics up enough to see, but am having to leave the tabs up on firefox. . .

  13. Whew! Just noticed I was "guest". . . . And boy oh boy does it take a long time to log in here. My fault: I cleared my cookies to see if that would help the mess at ebay. . . .
