Thankful's ETA has been revised to dawn. . . . I'm torn between trying to catch a few, and talking her in, lol!
listener, the chair in the picture is just wonderful! You can almost feel the soul in it! And the attention to detail in the rest of the picture is awesome. Wish we did that kind of work anymore.
Puddle, um, who's that nasty woman who butted into your lovely JC thread the other day? I couldn't believe how she kept spouting on and on even when people tried, gently and politely, to tell her to shut up or get lost. Even if she's unhappy, that was totally uncalled for. Minus her, it was a lovely thread. I re-posted the link.
The funny thing is that it took me awhile to put that together. I kept thinking of Holly J. and couldn't comprehend how such a proponent of non-violence would react that way. LOL! I hope mainefem is faring well these days. At least she has internet sometimes! ♥
Susan, I love it too. I like wallpaper, but I love this wallpaper. The melon tones in it make it feel warm and inviting, and the old fashioned design make it feel like a visit to Grandmother's house.
puddle, you are so right that the chair and setting have soul.
Here is where the photo came from! The Brick House in Shelburne was the home of Electra Havermayer Webb and her husband James Webb. it was given to them as a wedding present! Here is a link to my photos of the house, when I enjoyed a tour there in July. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=230848&id=637766753&l=45d44abd15 (Don't worry if you can't see all the photos on the album page. Just click on any of them and you can scroll left and right with your arrow keys and see them all just fine. It's such a gorgeous house and location, and has been so caringly preserved!
We could give you the link, but Facebook won't let you see it unless you're registered and friends with puddle there. It was a rant about us commenting that we miss jc and are still loyal to Howard Dean...the frustration apparently being that these are relationships in our past. I dunno. For me they're always current. ♥
First of all ~ Howard Dean!!
ReplyDeleteLet me also declare ~ Thankful ROCKS! ♥
PlusTooAlso (as my kids used to say) ~ I left a few messages on the last thread just now.

ReplyDeleteCan you direct me to the mentioned thread? Now you guys have got me curious.
ReplyDeletelistener, I'm usually not a wallpaper person, but I really love the wallpaper in the picture at the top of this thread.
