Alan, I didn't see your message until I was on my way home. On my iPhone presently, and my computer is giving me messages about needing to rebuild my database. So I will let you offer your post when you are able.
When I got off work this afternoon there seemed to be quite a bit of smoke in the air, but it became progressively thinner as I drove home (about 70 miles). The weather forecasters continue to express greater certainty that this will be a very strong El NiƱo year, therefore there is a greater chance of rain and snow out here. Also fewer hurricanes and more typhoons.
