It rocks my world, to think of that great, famous star in Orion going to supernova and then we won't see it anymore. But it's a done deal. Actually, it happened long ago and the results are just catching up with us; soon anyway. So I'm going to pay attention and really enjoy this stellar event. Daughter played her harp at Baby Grand's baptism on Sunday.  She bought it herself as a teen, for $2000, by saving up what she made offering childcare and doing science projects in an after school program.

What Happened Was...

Despite reports of vehicles off the road in Vermont due to early morning icing, we got most of the way across NH; and, while stopped at a traffic light in front of the Library, we got rear ended by a large pickup truck (Dodge RAM 2500, aptly named) driven by a 16 year old guy. We are okay and the car is driveable. But my poor Mini is going to need a new rear bumper, hatch door and rear light cover.

Started to wonder if Dobby was trying to keep us from going to Kennebunk!
