On the Porch, we arranged all the flowers for the reception tables. Here they are, all ready to beautify!

I'll be painting scenes at the Inn, perhaps like this one.  Hmmm, perhaps I should buy more green paint before I go. ;-)

Porch!

This is the porch I'll be sitting out on for some plein air painting during a three day painting workshop today through Sunday! I learned this week that so far I am the only person who signed up...and they're going to do it anyway.  I get to stay at the Inn, too.  This is the same Inn where our son was married two years ago (August 13th). We will have our family Christmas gathering here, also, this December.

Today I'll leave our annual Family Reunion early and arrive a little late to our 40th Class Reunion.

First one in the city

Wearin' all those grass stained jeans

Nothing is forgotten, everyone is pleased.

Someone got his hair cut

The girls have lots to say

His friends had felt more comfortable

Snow is on the ground

Photographs and wine are passed around.

Someone toasts an absent friend

Another takes his seat.

Weather !

Just had to share this screen capture!  It shows a line of storms approaching.  My house is represented by the blue dot, and I love how the rain above my location adds punctuation!  Most appropos given how much flooding we've been having.

Today Dr. Rawson, benefactor of the local Library, turns 100 years old! (We're having a party for him on Saturday.)

The photo on the left cracked me up!  If you're 100 you can do whatever you darn well please!
