  2. Should anyone be looking for good prices on art supplies, I suggest they look at
    Jackson's Art [Click].
I just purchased two primo quality sketchbooks from them that cost less delivered than a single one lists for (delivery extra) in the US--in fact they cost less than some pretty mundane sketchbooks in the stores here. Hardbound, 100% cotton, handmade paper that doesn't wrinkle all up when painted with watercolours. (Well, it wrinkles some with very heavy applications of watercolour, but then flattens out just by closing the book.) And profits made by the manufacturer go to water supply development in Nepal--a worthy cause, certainly. Jackson's also seems to have good prices on oil painting brushes--including black, red, and Kolinsky sable. Shipping costs are minimal (unless you are impatient).

    1. Flattens out by closing the book and leaving it for some time--on the order of several days.
