I don't understand why the military isn't protecting us. Don't they take an oath to protect us against all enemies, foreign and domestic? Well, if Trump and Musk don't qualify as domestic enemies I don't know who does! Arrest them!
I got the new ice maker installed in our refrigerator/freezer. The most difficult part was getting the blasted electrical plug inserted. It now seems happy, and we await the generation of ice cubes. In the meantime we will get some gardening done. It is a pretty day, but the wind from the mountains is moderately cold because of the snow up there. My experiment with enteric-coated aspirin for pain relief in my legs and lower back seems to be working. -----Alan
It's so good when pain takes a vacation! There is so much "ice" at my house (over a foot of snow outside) that your post reminded me of a quote from the Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder:
The rich get their ice in the Summer, But the poor get theirs in the Winter.
