We took VT*Grand out to eat (American Flatbread) then to see the ballet The Snow Queen performed by the Kiev Ballet of Ukraine! They were wonderful and what amazing backdrops and lighting effects! Slava Ukraini!
What gun was used in the assassination of the CEO of United Health? [Click] This fellow seems very knowledgeable, and what he says seems eminently reasonable. Forget the veterinary Welrod-type pistol. ——Alan P.S.: I think it is unreasonable to think that the assassin lost his backpack in Central Park; he took it off and placed it where it was found, as a distraction. Then he took the taxi to the bus station where cameras recorded him entering the station but not exiting, leading the police to assume he had taken a long-distance bus from there. He might have had a different jacket or coat in a locker and not been recognized as he left, or a confederate might have picked him up with an automobile (if the general layout of the bus station is like the old Greyhound station in downtown San Francisco, which I passed through many times in my younger days.) He could be anywhere by now. IMO. -----Alan
The way things were going, I thought he would lead the police on a longer chase. It should be a nice payday for the McDonald's worker who recognized him and called the police. The apparent insider(s) who helped with planning and timing will be an interesting part of the story. ----Alan
Jill Biden has potential legal claim against Trump— $100 Million! [Click] I certainly hope she proceeds with it; presumably she will wait until after Mr. Biden is no longer President. The statute of limitations is two years, and the SCOTUS immunity decision does not apply. ——Alan

Whether true, and if so of what type or who manufactured it we do not know, but there is a rumor that the assassin used a "ghost" gun.

The fog is thinner this morning, but will probably persist through the day. It may well be another poor day for yard work.
