    1. (Susan)...and the delicious part is that TRUMP signed the law making retention of classified documents a FELONY. He was trying to target Hillary and instead shot himself in the a... foot.

    2. I think it's more of Jack Smith's brilliance. If the case is iron clad, it will be a DT appointee sending him to prison. Takes the wind out of the "Witch Hunt" sails.

    3. I don't think Mr. Smith has any control over judicial case assignments.

    2. Unsealed before the arraignment? That doesn't sound right. But I shall proceed to read it.

    3. Just read the indictment (granted I skimmed parts). Wow. 18 U.S.C. § 793(e) is where [at least relevant parts of] the current incarnation of the Espionage Act resides; it has been changed and moved around several times since Gene Debs pleaded guilty to it. I note that it considers losing a classified national security document equivalent to conveying it to an enemy alien.

  4. Lawrence O’Donnell: Jack Smith speaks for first time with 49-page indictment [Click] Only 8.5 minutes, but a very choice 8.5 minutes. Highly recommended.

    1. I continue to reflect on the nearly astonishing fact that Mr. Smith had not previously said one work in public about the case.

    1. The guy has (if we believe him) so much money that he has no need to mooch free room, board, clothing, and medical care from us; but he continues to campaign for it.
