  1. Christie Immediately Goes After Trump [Click] Ah! An excellent brawler, quite the contrast to Milquetoast Pence. [Click]

    1. You mean Pence who actually said in his speech that he appreciates all that DT did for America?

  2. Recent update on what may be happening with the Trump documents cases and grand juries. [Click] In short, we will find out when it happens—unless it is sealed pending decisions by the other grand jury. Tomorrow? Next week? Or ??

  3. (Susan) I really hate it when they cite trump's "accomplishments". All he did was unleash a tsunami of hate and racism that is still inundating the USA. He is just so incredibly stupid, and now ranting "I did nothing wrong". No, Bozo, you did NOTHING RIGHT. Stain on our history.

    1. Thanks, listener. I had read about the case before, and yesterday about her pardon, but this is a better report.

  5. GREAT NEWS!! (via Heather Cox Richardson)...

"CNN has parted ways with Chris Licht, its chief executive officer and chair, who had sought to move the network to what he considered the center of American politics. He had done so by highlighting “both sides” of today’s political arguments, firing leading journalists he thought too far on the left and centering Trump in a town hall that became the former president’s triumphant reentry to the political stage as he lied and bullied the interviewer. Some pundits have taken Licht’s fall as a sign that there is no longer a powerful center in American politics, but my own guess is the opposite: that most of us want news based in reality rather than media giving platforms to people who are openly lying."

    1. It's been a L-O-O-N-G time since I wateched TV, but it's my impression that people no longer expect news. They expect opinion and commentary. And they want that to agree with their views. Am I wrong?

    2. I think they want news real-time AND immediate well-thought-out commentary.

What I want is factual information without hype. After I've had time to take it in, I appreciate hearing what some experts or well-informed people have to say about it. I want more than one view, but I sure don't want blather, lies and innuendo.

    3. I also have not watched TV news for a long time; the information content compared to written news is too low to satisfy me. I remember Water Cronkite.
