Trump *has* no policies and he's barely tethered to reality. Trying to understand loser trump is the equivalent of a cat chasing the red dot. No logic or rules to any of it.
And Bannon is trying to lead the charge against GOP incumbents. One of the basic problems with anarchy is that since it is by necessity incapable of organization, it is incapable of forming a government and incapable of advancing any agenda. This sure looks to me like the end of the Republican Party, in operational terms if not yet in name. If the Dems maintain ANY semblance of order and cooperation, they come out the winners. Only later will we see what replaces the conventional GOP as an effective counter to the Democratic Party.
I decided to make a drawing board similar to this one [Click] to include in my sketching kit, which will reside in a small backpack. It's an interesting material--Coroplast, like corrugated cardboard but made of polypropylene. A bit flexible, but lightweight and strong. found 18X24 inch sheets (4mm thin!) at a hardware store. I decided to add a brace of the scrap material and some thin plastic where the big clips connect on the back (I have a tendency to overbuild things), and discovered that adhesives that will adhere to such material are very unusual. One, in tape form, is said to be both convenient and very strong, but purchased from Amazon it is far too expensive. I checked hardware stores, online art stores, and hobby shops in town, and no one carried it. Then, hesitantly, I tried Hobby Lobby, and there it was; price lower than Amazon to start with, no shipping, and a 40% coupon I could use for it. (Only one item, once a day). That made it practical. At 40% off they can't be making any profit, so I'm OK with that one purchase. The store is definitely a step down from Michael's, and the staff seems to be almost exclusively young women. Interesting.
That's a barn?

Yes, that's how it's currently used. Maybe it never had plumbing? Or maybe it's being converted.

Another perspective on the Republican Party.[Click] Sure sounds like an argument for a new center-right party…

ReplyDeleteAh oh! Pency-poo has been sneaking around behind Cheetolini's back! This is not going to end well.
All of this somehow reminds me that if HRC had asked Bernie to be her VP, they'd have won.

So, with Price gone and Pence sure to be on the hot seat by next Friday, will there be anyone of consequence left? C'mon, Mueller! It's TIME!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I have a laundry list! Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort, Jeff Sessions and for the cherry on top - McConnell and Ryan!
DeleteBannon is officially gone from the Administration, though.
