  5. Got no tulips. The iris opened last week. Got a bunch that have put up huge leaves, but no flowers. Anyone know why?

  6. Generally that means somebody ate a key part of your tulip bulb. Everybody likes to eat tulip bulbs...from moles to deer. The best way to keep them from being filched is to mix them in with daffodil bulbs, because everybody strongly dislikes eating daffodil bulbs.
