  1. Howie's the foist, yanno?

listener, I added a title to this post, because with no title, there's no way to get to the comment thread (that I know of).

  2. Kinda cool and gray and still. Kinda like it. But then I'm perverse, lol! Knew as soon as I came downstairs that I wasn't going to Harrisonburg today. And no good reason, either, just don't want to go. . . .

  3. Well, actually, there is kind of a good reason, lol! By the time I'd be coming home, I'd be competing for lane space on the mountain with a great many weekenders. With a four cylinder Escort vs the avg. SUV, it's a losing battle. And pretty unpleasant. It's one lane each direction, steep grades, and peeps with big muthas who are impatient. . . .

  4. Thank-you!! I didn't realise I'd left it blank.

I got there and back again, and had two excellent meetings...but oh my I'm tired now!

But my really big news from the Salt Mine is that....
I don't need training wheels anymore!

  7. Indeed, lol! What's that Amish saying? We are too soon old, and too late schmart?

  8. Well, if that's what the Amish say, you've got them beat.

  11. While learning the ropes in my new job at the Library, whenever I shelved a book I needed to put a round sticker on the spine so that one of my coworkers could double-check my work. Hubby referred to the round stickers as my "training wheels." :) Yesterday I was told that I don't need to use them anymore!

Yayyy!! Now I can ride the bike and I'm all grown up! LOL!
