My memory serves me well; the people collapsing in the heat are shown later in the video. Not surprisingly, they didn't seem to have water or much protective clothing (e.g. hats, long sleeves, etc.).
My best guess is it will just be in the higher elevations. Might be a pretty scene around here, with snow on the mountains and colourful foliage in the valley.
