    1. Not surprising, since Trump calls the police "heroes in blue." --nordy

  2. Dear Susan, I hope you are reading the blog because I want you to know I am thinking of you every day during this foolishness in Ohio...which has now expanded from Springfield to Dayton! SMH, but also can't help but laugh too, because Dewine is R and because Vance keeps doubling down on the lies. They are shooting themselves in the foot in a big way, as it has to be infuriating to Ohioans ~ be great if DT loses the state. The mess (including KKK leaflets) is unconscionable, causing lockdowns and fear and cost. May the immigrant community be surrounded by allies!

  3. Shots fired in the vicinity of DT at his West Palm Beach Golf Course
Could be unrelated to DT, but they're on lockdown. Can't help but wonder if it's an attempt to gain sympathy.

  4. JD Vance was back on Meet the Press this morning, trying to defend the indefensible. When the moderator asked him about the cat-eating rumors and violence in Springfield, Ohio, he blamed the media for not making a big deal out of it, as Vance obviously wished they had. Apparently the press is derelict in its duty for refusing to sensationalize a bunch of rumors generated by neo-Nazis. Vance also claimed the press had ignored replorts of many 911 calls by people whose pets were stolen. Funny, law enforcement hasn't heard of any such calls. --nordy

    1. Actually, I rather like "replorts." I imagine a report that has a sudden, sort of explosive, effect.

    2. Or like "SPLORT!" for the sound of a ripe tomato smashing into something in a cartoon.

    2. THANK YOU for this!!
Interesting. All day I've been seeing posts saying Routh is a Democrat.
But here is evidence he's a mentally ill and disillusioned Republican.
