    1. Thin clouds this morning, predicted high 88F, breakfast in progress; can't complain legitimately.

    2. Alan, not hot here but very windy. Power out, schools closing, and two cruise ships anchored in Elliott Bay, waiting for the wind to go down so the Coast Guard says they're safe to dock. --nordy

  3. Were Trump Witnesses Paid Off?
[Click] Sounds more like they were bribed.

[Click] One wonders if they might have been looking down the barrel of a gazillion dollar lawsuit or a criminal prosecution. Yep. “It was the other guys’ fault, we did nothing wrong, will never do it again, and will make a huge free will offering as a token of our sincerity.”

    1. So, doesn't this mean he has frog leaped over the lower courts he could have appealed to first to drag the thing out?
If the Supremes decline to take up the case are his appeals exhausted?

    2. The next level court of appeal (I think there are two in NY) doesn't accept cases (if then) until the subject is sentenced.

  12. The Supreme Court's reputation is already in the toilet. Set Felon Trump free and the flushing sound will be heard throughout the country.

  14. My brother was a Type 3 hoarder. That means he kept all his own garbage and also shopped through other people's garbage for "treasures". I brought home carload after carload of clothes. Some of it fancy name brand, much of it not even in his size. I had to get it out of his apartment but didn't know what I would do with it. Then synchronicity struck again and I got a postcard from Amvets asking for clothing donations. So tomorrow they will be picking up 15 of 33 gallon bags of clothing from my house. (Susan)

    1. Perfect!!
My uncle was a hoarder...and not so useful. He simply never threw anything out and SAVED all his recycling, neatly sorted in containers in his basement. So strange. At least with your brothers' choices it can come to some good!
