  2. This seems to be a pretty good exposition of Trumpenstein’s M.O.:

  3. We don’t need no steenkin’ vancomycin![Click] “The Ancientbiotics team conducted one fascinating study in which a 10th century cure for a stye – an eyesalve from the wonderful Bald’s Leechbook – was recreated and to the surprise of all, found to kill 90 percent of the dreadful antibiotic-resistant methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus – otherwise known as the hospital superbug MRSA. The mixture of odd ingredients stewed in a brass vessel for nine days had the same efficacy as vancomycin, the antibiotic that is used for MRSA.”

  4. Another wonderful treatment from Bald's Leechbook! I should expect it would have a marvelous curative effect upon a person of our common acquaintance--if not, he must be beyond help.

As somebody pointed out on FB, he took 18 months away from his "businesses" and nobody seemed to miss him. He thought he was gonna be Supreme Ruler of the World, just threaten and boss everyone and get his way in all things. He's a very lazy man and he didn't think he'd have to actually "work".

    1. Well, yes. Psychotic. Or lunatic, in another word--and there is a very old-timey, indubitably conservative, treatment for that...

    5. Oh well, basically it was just David Frum making fun of Cheetolini because he was so stupid he didn't realize the Presidency was *real work*.

    6. Oh, I liked it, Susan--it appealed to my catty nature. Thanks for finding it for us.--Alan

Seoul's Vulnerability Is Key to War Scenarios
"A U.S. strike on the North may provoke a catastrophic retaliation against South's capital." May? Make that "would." Estimates range from about five thousand to ten thousand high explosive shells per minute hitting Seoul.
