    1. Interesting that they posit that our bodies need free radicals. Whenever I read about supplement fans I remember my childhood when every morning my mom floated cod liver oil on top of our glass of orange juice. Nasty stuff! To this day I can't drink orange juice and I'm allergic to shrimp and fish. I blame the cod liver oil.

I let too much time elapse between meals today and got a migraine as payoff, which explains my absence for most of the day.

    2. There aren't nearly as many free radicals wandering the streets of Berkely as there used to be, more's the pity...

    3. The article's so dumbed-down I couldn't get through it. Consequently I don't know whether it's just debunking snake oil or peddling a different variety of snake oil.

  2. HALLO! I've been AWOL because our family gathering is this weekend. I'll be AWOL all weekend because our family gathering is this weekend. BUT! The house is clean, the gifts are wrapped and my outfit is just waiting for me to set it into the suitcase...which I will do before I sleep. We leave at 8am! Back Sunday night. Meanwhile our neighbour is tending the kitties, and I can hardly wait to go!! I spent most of the last two weeks and all of the last three days turning a wooden Scrabble set with rotating board into a Harry Potter Scrabble set! Long story, but it involved making special tiles that have spells, charms, potions and curses on them, and hand sewing a very fancy drawstring bag for all the tiles, plus making Harry Potter stickers to liven up the box. There is going to be one very happy bibliophilic 10 year old by the tree! Ha! Must run, but I'm fine, just exhausted and extremely happy! :-D

(Well, as long as I don't listen to the news. Heh.)

    2. That is a wonderful present, listener; you deserve at least five HUMUNGOUS gold stars! And now homewards--very long day at work, and Monday augurs to be more of the same. Decks largely cleared.
