Do You See What I See?

  1. What Does Joe Biden Know? [Click] Completely groundless speculation that could nevertheless offer an explanation for his apparent interest in running for President--and Obama's evident lack of opposition.

  2. Jeb Bush Falls Into a Trap [Click] Maybe we can forget about the inevitability of an HRC vs. Jeb Bush election…

  3. I'm back from my trip. Actually got back late Tuesday night, but spent all yesterday going through 2 days' of email. Really enjoyed the trip. One of the high points was the tour of Glacier National Park. Spectacular scenery. Saw both some of the recently burned areas and those burned in 2003, with the forest now recovering. Fun with my fellow fans on the train. Also enjoyed the convention, although aside from my own two panels I saw little besides the Accessibility desk. But thanks and kudos for both Traincon and Accessibility (where I had the support of an outstanding staff) made it all worth while.

  4. A few days back there was talk of side-sleep pillows that I don't understand. I have always slept on regular pillows and for almost all my life have slept on my side. The past couple of years I have started out sleeping on my back because that gives my sinuses a chance to drain, but I find myself on my side within a couple of hours at most and often before I am fully asleep.

  6. Hi everybody,

Sorry for being away so long. PT is going very well; I'm growing stronger and my balance is improving somewhat. Progressing through the Global Challenge at Fun Trivia without covering myself with either glory or disgrace. I now have forty quizzes online. Currently working on a new one dealing with Dionne Warwick's 1968 album "Promises, Promises." Should have it finished and submitted over the weekend. Keep getting distracted book-wise, but am now reading The Eternal Savage by Edgar Rice Burroughs, which includes time travel and a Niocine(sp?) age wherein pterodactyls coexist with wooly mammoths and Man. It's a jolly romp, as most ERB books are.

  7. Welcome back, Bill and you, too, Catreona! It will be nice to have more voices here day by day. :-) Alan has done his best to keep things moving along, and I am so grateful for his sharings, especially on my more busy days.
