What does your week hold? Is Bill still away at a -con? Catreona told me her PT is tiring her out. Good to see your post, puddle. My thanks to Alan for holding down the fort a lot lately. I miss Susan! Sure wish R&D would pop in sometimes.
My week has lots of hand sewing (baby quilt). Very nearly bought a Singer treadle sewing machine c1906 on Saturday; it was advertised as in excellent mechanical working order, but when I tried it before purchase we discovered that the bobbin casing was busted off the machine. :-( I told her if she can get that fixed I'm still interested. I used to have a treadle and miss it. It sure would speed up the piecing of quilts!
I just signed up for $25.16 for seven months. Plus, of course, a supplement whenever (or if) HRC asks me for money again. If I don't have any Bernie Bucks to send her, I will send a copy of a Bernie bumper sticker; that should get the idea across.
Gee, that's good news. The story refers to the Black Lives Matter protesters in Seattle etc., and to tell the truth I noted how they got in Bernie's face but pretty much gave HRC a pass. Was that sexism? Or bullying? Bernie has a 100% rating from the NAACP.
P.S.: The side sleeper pillow I used to deal with mild sleep apnea and to train myself to sleep on my side is no longer available. I have a different design on order and will let folks know if it should prove satisfactory.
I have seen those, but suspect habit would reassert itself and I would wake to find myself on my back again. Not easy to change a habit of more than sixty years. The one I am going to try (currently on back order) is the "Side Sleeper Pro Air."
BTW, I just replaced my computer modem--connections were getting more and more difficult, and the Earthlink tech rep figured out that it was the modem. A replacement from Earthlink was "free" with a stiff handling fee for 1-2 day delivery and a contract, so I bopped over to the office supply store and got a Netgear one for (after everything is considered) less money, and in less than an hour. Huge improvement!
I am inspired to commence my brief summary (it won't be an essay) of what I have learned about Marxism and a few very closely related things. I think I have mulled over the basics well enough.

I may also make it back over to Bernie HQ this week. I'm waiting to hear back on when they need help.

How to optimise your brain's waste disposal system
ReplyDeleteNew research suggests that body posture during sleep may affect the efficiency of the brain’s self-cleaning process [Click] Please don’t tell me that sleeping on my back (which I did most of my life) predisposes one to vote in a certain way…

If your new pillow doesn't make the cut, I can highly recommend the tempurpedic side sleeper pillow.
