Susan, saw the Halloween costume pic on facebook, but it wouldn't let me comment. I laughed and laughed and laughed, so here: https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash2/v/t1.0-9/578392_538535869548065_230191081_n.jpg?oh=2ae0c8cde7fd7c4265392bcdd3546a7b&oe=54E20B6E

    1. Sometimes the ingenuity of people just amazes me!

We had our first snow of the year today. Temps in the 20's, sharp wind, snow, but nothing accumulating. I don't know why rain never enthralls me but snow always does.

    2. Rain can have charms if I'm in the right mood (which I'm usually not) but snow is magical!

  5. That is a GREAT Halowe'en costume! Spooky as all get-out and quite unanticipated.

We had some actual RAIN last night and this morning; not a gullywasher by any means, but more than we have had in a long time. We were in the Bay Area (Fremont) for court yesterday, and got out of town just ahead of the storm. It followed us down to Fresno during the night, and then when we drove back up to Fremont this morning it had mostly passed this area--we drove out from under it within a half hour.

We're getting over our shared cold--a pretty nasty one it was…
