  2. Muesli update: I had Trader Joe's blueberry muesli for breakfast. Had it before, but paid closer attention for this report. the blueberries are good but the muesli doesn't absorb the milk ad develop a smooth texture as Familia does.

    1. Thanks for the review, Bill. I like both possibilities, but I have apprehensions about the store Trader Joe's. People who like it really like it, but one just moved in, here, next to the decades old Healthy Living Whole Foods Market. The Market is only about 8 years old, but it began as a health food co-op over 30 years ago.

    2. In Oak Park-River Forest there are a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe's within two blocks of each other and both seem to do just fine.

    3. Yeah, Bill, but both of those are major chains. Our Healthy Living store is local, one store in and of itself, and owned by the employees and co-op members.

  3. Watching Beau attempting to make my Chinese carpet a safe place for a nap. And laughing my head off.

    I'm easy.

  4. Silly Beau.

For entertainment here, I brought a BOX home from the market, for the kitties, and this one was for produce, so has one open side and round holes in the bottom! Endless fun! =^. .^=

  5. Dad's lab results came in today. Several of the polyps were "the kind that cause cancer" (presumed translation: precancerous), but the doctor reckons they got everything. He is to return in two years.. Very good news indeed!

    1. A more precise translation would be, "showing changes that indicate they may become cancerous later." But yes, the purpose of preventive screenings such as this is to catch things before they actually cause problems.

  7. listener, if your mom painted that well without more instruction than that, I 'spect art school wouldn't have done a whole lot for her. Major talent there. Too bad she couldn't have felt that.
